Sales Rep Guide to Direct Pickup Logistics Pickups (Empty Keg Pickups)

This article provides best practices for sales representatives working with accounts on wine-on-tap. It covers guidance for distributors set up with FFW's empty keg pickup service, ensuring reps have the tools to assist accounts.

Setting Up an Account for Direct Pickups

To set up an account for direct keg pickups, please email emptykegs@freeflowwines.com with the following information:

Required Information:

  • Contact Name

  • Email Address

  • Phone Number

  • Account Address

  • Pickup Cadence – Indicate how often pickups should occur: weekly, bi-weekly, monthly, or by request. Please note: “by request” pickups require a lead time of 3–5 business days.

  • Pickup Days/ Time Frames Ex: Monday - Thursday, 10 AM-8 PM. The exact time frames cannot always be accommodated, but we will do our best. Having a specified time slot and a set cadence will help ensure there are no missed pickups and minimize service interruptions.
