🍷 To Get Started with Kegs

Contact us HERE. We'll get you set-up with our keg deposit agreement and ensure your team is ready for order fulfillment & empty keg collections.

📝 Submitting a Purchase Order:

Order the kegs directly from your winery supplier
PO's can be picked up from Biagi Bros - 787 Airpark Rd Napa, CA 94558
- Free Flow has no minimum order qty (but your suppliers might)

🚚 Picking Up Purchase Orders:

All PO's must be scheduled for pick-up.
Appointments can be scheduled by emailing winecsr@biagibros.com or calling 707-256-2651 (ext 7871)
Warehouse hours are 6:00 AM - 2:00 PM (Mon - Fri)
Cutoff for next-day appointments is 2:00 PM
Upon arrival drivers will need appointment number and PO number

🔁 Returning Empty Kegs

All our kegs are 100% reusable, stainless steel kegs. Once empty, we'll get them collected, refilled, & back out to the market. Here's how it works...

You pick up empties from your accounts (interested in Free Flow doing this for you?)
Return the empties to your warehouse.
Once you’ve collected 20+ empties, contact us: Logistics@freeflowwines.com
1. Less than 20 kegs? Send the request anyway—we’ll do our best!

🪙 Keg Deposits / Credits & Pallet Fees

A $30 deposit is invoiced for each Free Flow keg shipped to a distributor. This invoice is billed to the distributor directly.
When empty kegs are returned, Free Flow issues a credit memo of $30 per keg. This credit can be applied to future keg deposit invoices.
If kegs are transferred between warehouses or distributors this info must be reported to Free Flow so that we can transfer the deposits properly.
Each keg has a unique serial number that Free Flow tracks. Distributors are encouraged to maintain the same system for accurate reconciliation.
Pallet Fees: A $14.00 non-refundable fee is charged per pallet for staging and handling at the time of shipment.

🍷 Each keg holds 19.5 liters of wine. That's ~132 pours (5 oz glasses)
There are 20 kegs per pallet & 40 kegs per pallet spot (stacked 2 high)
Keg weight: 58 lbs full / 14 lbs empty
Pallet dimensions: 40” x 48” x 30” high (with kegs)
Pallet weight: ~1,190 lbs (20 full kegs)
Keg size: 24” tall x 9.25” wide (27” tall when tapped)

Note: Use only 304-grade stainless steel components and wine-grade lines for quality assurance.

⏳ Keg Freshness

Before tapping: We recommend that wine be shipped to accounts within 12–18 months. This is to keep keg inventory at healthy levels.

After tapping: Wine will stay fresh for at least 6 months after a keg has been tapped.
